Hello and welcome to Dallas in Texas!

First of all I’d love to announce that it is the 12th of June and it is my 26th Birthday, as well as the Independence Day (Araw ng Kalayaan lit. “Day of Freedom”) of my Home Country the Philippines. Since I am a big advocate of personal freedom, my birthdays literally became my personal “Day of Freedom” as well. During my Birthdays I usually love to be on travel, because it would be so much more memorable to me in the future. Isn’t this a great mnemonic? What do you think?

In Downtown Dallas, while the sunlight was illuminating the Buildings beautifully, I started my exploration directly at “Dealey Plaza” on Elm Street which was the Place where the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy happened on November 22nd 1963. The deadly shots were fired from the 6th Floor of the orange squared building seen on the 3rd Picture below. The Building, which was a School Book Depository back in those days, is now the so called „Sixth Floor Museum” which details the Life of John F. Kennedy.

A short walking distance away from Dealey Plaza across the Train Tracks of the Union Station, I experienced an amazing view over the Skyline of Dallas from the 170 meter high Reunion Tower. From up here I watched people starting their day and i really had a great view towards the Skyscrapers, the Old Red Courthouse and the Dealey Plaza.

To me it was definitely a memorable Trip that would always remind me of where i celebrated my 26th Birthday.

So with that said, let us see where i will be in a year from now! ;)

Untilverysoon!
