Hola and welcome to Barcelona,

the capital of the state Catalonia, in Spain. Most importantly to know is that Catalans view their region and their culture as entirely unique to that of the rest of the entire mainland of Spain.  It has its very own flag and a language called Catalan.

Walking the streets of Barcelona, you will encounter that many of the most famous attractions are buildings designed by the most significant designer and architect – Antoni Gaudi. One of the most popular Sights to visit in Barcelona is the “La Sagrada Familia” Basilica.  This incredible monument was Gaudi’s most famous work, which he has never got to finish, since he unfortunately passed away before it was fully completed.

Another great discovery is the tree-lined pedestrian boulevard “La Rambla”, that is known to be Europe’s most famous street, and the Place for many Street Artists. Walking down „La Rambla” will lead you in about 15 minutes to the Beach and palm trees of Barcelona, as seen in my pictures below.

There is still so much to discover in this ancient great place.

Hasta pronto!
