Dóbriy dyén!

Welcome to the Red Square, the central Place of Moscow and the first destination most visitors usually will go to. It was a great sunny day and my way led directly to the heart of Moscow as well. You need to understand that most of the main sites are on the northern bank of the Moskva River, which bends its way through the city. The other major waterway is the Yauza River, which flows into the Moskva, east of the Kremlin.

The typical landmark that is usually shown of Moscow is the beautiful St. Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin’s Brick wall as seen in the Pictures below. Since the official language is of course Russian, it is hard to find anybody that speaks proper English. Furthermore it was of course challenging as well to read the signs, because the characters are written in russian-cyrillic. But i had a good map and so it was not any problem at all to get around there.

There are still a couple of things that i want to explore the next time i am here.

Doswidanja!

Untilverysoon!
