Nihao Nanjing!

Nanjing is about 1,5h western from Shanghai and had been the Capital City of China throughout ten dynasties. To me it was a great experience being back in Asia and feeling the deep connection with that culture and especially making again use of my basic knowledge in mandarin. I use to open conversations by saying “Wo hui shuo yi dian dian zhong wen ” meaning “I can speak a little bit of Chinese”. The Feedback that i usually get this way is always very heartily and positive.

During my stay i visited the temple of confucius and took a boat trip on the Qinhuai River.
Furthermore i visited the stunning Yuejing Tower up on a little hill right beside the world famous Yangtze River. Together with my colleague friends we spent there sitting the whole day and enjoying the view while having an authentic Nanjing Green Tea!

Here I show you the best pictures of that day. Isn’t it a peaceful scenery while enjoying a great cup of Cha (tea)?

Looking forward to next time!
