Hi,
this is my first Blog Entry and i just arrived back from my Trip to Ashgabat in Turkmenistan. To me it was very special, because i experienced take-off and landing for the first time in my Life in the cockpit right next to the captain and the first officer. TOTALY AMAZING!My Childhood dream finally came true!!!
The Hotel and the Room was huge as seen on the pictures below. Walking outside on the Streets of Ashgabat felt very surrealistic to me. On the one hand i felt like beeing on another planet, considering the buildings and the surroundings, and on the other hand the streets were really empty – hardly cars passing by.
Below is a selection of pictures that were taken during the stay. Since i was not allowed to bring my SLR camera into the country, i shot pictures using my iPhone. Credits and a Big Shout-Out goes to my friend Christopher for sharing his pictures with me on my Blog. Big Thanks Chris!
