Hi,
And welcome to the capital and federal district of the United States of America. The probably most popular place to visit in Washington D.C. is the area around the National Mall, which is a beautiful green parkland at the southern side of the White House, that holds many of the cities monuments, for example the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and the Capitol.
In Downtown everything is just a few walking distances away. Visiting the White House of President Obama felt definitely very thrilling, even though the Pennsylvania Avenue was remarkably “empty” for my expectations and Mr. Obama himself was not present during that time.
Nevertheless, it was a great feeling to see and experience the monuments seen below in the pictures, especially at the Bottom of the 170m high Washington Monument or at the reflecting pools of the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol.
I am hoping to visit here again soon and to further experience the vibe of that significant city.
Untilverysoon!
