Warmly welcome to another great Trip to Abu Dhabi, a truly unique city with swaying palm trees, clean beaches and the clear gulf waters.
During the afternoon with its 40+ degree Celsius temperature, i paid a visit to the grand mosque, that had been not accessible to me during the month of Ramadan as you can read in my previous Post on 1001 Arabian Nights.
The highlight of this times trip was the Dunes safari, where i discovered the true desert of Abu Dhabi. After the exciting drive over the sand dunes, which is referred to as “Dune bashing”, we visited a camel farm and watched the sunset from the dunes. It was a really breathtaking experience I tell you.
The journey continued until we reached a traditional Arabic camp, where we had the opportunity to try a host of activities like henna painting, Shisha, and of course the Arabic sweets and coffee that is significant to the Bedouin culture.
Another Highlight was the Sunset BBQ Dinner, that offered allot of great tasting Arabic food. Together with live entertainment under the starlit sky, it was a great and unique experience that i will always remember.
Looking forward to visit the emirates again in the near future.
Untilverysoon!
